Sharing My Proud Moment with You
If you have been listening to my Business Building Basics for Stay at Home Moms Teleseries, you will have heard me talking about passion and purpose. My husband and I strongly believe in encouraging our children to follow their dreams and we make it our purpose as parents to be role models for them in their pursuits.
So, last night my oldest daughter performed in her first concert with a large audience. Her band mate is an amazingly talented 9 year old boy and even though my daughter was a bit upset that everyone focused on him, (when you watch the video, you will see why) she still felt every once of passion that her little body could muster up when she was on that stage. She is the drummer and back up vocals which she is very good at and no less important than being a “star”.
I can’t tell you how proud I am to see this kid have the courage to get up on stage in front of hundreds of people! She may not like to go to sleep overs, but she can get up on stage and sing and drum her heart out! If your children are interested in a sport, musical instrument, art or in any activities outside of academic work, this is absolutely the time to let them explore this passion and let them flex their muscles. I have watched this video probably ten times since last night and I still get tears each time I watch it. This is pure passion in action and it is an example of a child being an inspiration to you, to follow your dreams.
All you have to do is claim your dream and from there, you can make it happen.
It’s up to you to take the right steps though. So, if you haven’t signed up for the Business Building Basics for Stay at Home Moms Teleseries and gotten your 12 free gifts, you better do so quickly because they are about to turn into a $97 product on November 25!
